STAFF Head Coach - Joe Tranchita (alias JT) started the Club back in 1976. JT is a level 2 certified coach with more than 30 years of coaching experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities, from beginners to national caliber. In addition to his Club coaching, JT has been a high school coach since 1975, coaching at Waltham High School for fifteen years and currently at Newton North High School. He has won more than a two dozen state titles and conference titles, produced more than a dozen individual state champions and had six number one nationally ranked teams. With the Club, he has produced many N.E., Regional and National titles at both the youth and open women's levels.
Jr. Team - Our Jr. Team coaching staff, directed by Head Coach Joe Tranchita, is comprised of more than 40 parents, high school and college athletes, Sr. Team members and community volunteers. All volunteer coaches attend coaching classes conducted by the club to prepare them for their coaching assignments. The Jr. Team requires a large staff to handle the more than 300 kids who participate each year. We can never have enough Jr. Team coaches . No experience is needed. The Club will teach you everything you need to know. Parents of Jr. Team members are encourage to become coaches. If interested, let us know. |
